Being a team lead, how to make your team strong:

90% of Team leads don't follow this and they are not able to make strong team : 

-Team bonding activities you need to do weekly /monthly. Even in remote work, each week after hours you can do teams meeting where in meeting everyone can just discuss random on topics. In that way there will be good bonding between juniors to seniors to team lead , everyone. 

-Is any member's performance not up to the mark, you keep reporting your manager ??? let's not do that.  As a team leads you need to make conversations with him/her to find out in what area she/he lacks. 
give a couple of chances, if he /she is having lack of knowledge then make some knowledge transfer sessions. 

-Support your team members wherever they need you 

 If your team member comes to you that he made mistake in delivery for the client (or made a mistake in the client-side environment) or whatever he/she made mistake in a call or in an email conversation. you just support him/her at that time and fix things for him/her. you don't need to think about anything else. Just tell him/her not to repeat the same. Try to make conversation confidential, not to give an example of him/her in any case. If a mistake is too big then and then you need to make aware of upper management and even there try to make conversation confidential as much as you can. So how you deal with situations is important.  

-Be transparent always, and give credit to your team member for the work he/she has done. Make transparency wherever you think that upper management should have visibility for the work that your team members do. never take away the work credit of your team members. 

-Make sure you keep informing management wherever you think a promotion is needed for your team members. People just don't work for a salary, they want a promotion, they want appreciation. 

-Understand the red flags, one bad mango can spoil the entire basket. If you find any individual is not doing the right thing then talk to him/her immediately. If after multiple attempts the same thing is happening take strict action. 

-People say in a company/organization just make and keep the professional relationship. No, you can go beyond that and make friends.  you just should be able to make a balance between these two. 

 -You are the bridge between your team and management. If you don't do the job the right way, it is a loss not just for you but for the entire team.

-Make the environment for healthy competition
